Welcome to the Process Revolution!

Hi,

I’m Bill Nichols and I work with the TSP team at SEI. This blog is devoted to doing things right.

We work with primarily with developing software, but also systems and services.  In each of these, doing things right means following some sort of repeatable process.  Process isn’t just important when you are doing the most mechanical repeatable activities, process is most critical if you want to do complicated or complex things.  Process is important if you work alone, but becomes even more critical when you work on a team.

I plan to discuss why process is so important, how we can use a process, and how we can improve our processes. I’ll start off with a link to the inspiration for this blog,  Watt’s article in Cross Talk.
